Correct it before driving. The rear caliper piston usually has slots for those pins so the parking brake functions properly.
If the piston is pushing directly on the pin you may damage your caliper piston.
Thank you I went ahead and swapped them. RockAuto threw me off by rubber banding the inner pads together so I thought that was the set. But hey you live and learn. Thankfully everything was pre loosened so it didn’t take me nearly as long to swap.
Yeah always double check because there doesn't seem to be any standard if things are packaged as sets of inner and outer or inners together and outers together.
