The best you can hope for is the "hate the sin not the sinner" thing.
Literally best case scenario is "i don't hate you. In fact I really like you. Which is why it makes me sad you're going to hell."
Exactly… I don’t understand this idea that the leader of an archaic organization with archaic beliefs dictated by a made up sky daddy is magically not gonna hold the same archaic beliefs as every single one before them.
Particularly when he's selected by getting together a bunch of other people with the same beliefs to get together and vote on who best represents their beliefs.
The Overton window in America must be so fucking convenient to people who know how to use it.
