However, regardless of gender identity, all feminine presenting individuals are welcome here. Whether that means you're NB, GNC, transmasc, or any other identity, you are welcome here. I think you're reading that in. I was expecting it to be something interesting like English not being their primary language, being unaccustomed to the English-language Internet could explain how someone wouldn't be exposed to this kind of slang.
I understand your curiosity but both your and cheese's wording is questionable, cheese's felt like they were interrogating her and your "profound lack of common sense" is, even if you believe it to be true, an insult. Next time show your interest and try make conversation and don't insult them if they decide not to talk, nobody is obligated to explain themselves to a stranger.
