Wait... Brian Eno made the sounds for Windows 95? Holy shit.
He made the boot up sound.
Also, he composed the sound of a 14.4BAUD modem along with minimalist artist Phillip Glass.
I've listened to Glass's organ pieces and their repetitiveness always reminds me of mechanical machines. Watching cogs spin and the like.
