Is the new Legendary Edition a marked improvement over the original version? I want to play it on a weaker computer so I don't care for graphics and stuff. But I might consider it has significant quality of life improvements like better controller support etc.

Update: I pulled the trigger and set up the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect 2 on the Steam Deck because I already had the files for it from before on my laptop.

It works fine though it takes up more than battery than what I would expect from such an old game. Buttery smooth 60fps. Another complain I have is that the dark parts of the visual are too dark, making it hard to make sense of what is going on when in an area like a dimly lit room. I don't know if this happened in the origin. Maybe this is a byproduct of the HDR-isation of the game.
