“We are losing support in vast swaths of the country, in rural America, in the Midwest, the places where I’m from," Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., told the outlet. "People that I grew up with who now support Donald Trump, who used to be Democrats. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t have the support of these folks, other than we have pushed, in so many ways, these people away from our party."

So they’re moving even further right. The article specifically points to their efforts to appeal to the toxic online male demographic.

If Democrats want to win, they have to move further right. Jason Crow would make a better Democratic candidate than AOC. Not only because of his moderate views but because he was an US Army Ranger. In contrast, AOC was never in the US military. If she is the Democratic Presidential candidate, she would be running against J.D. Vance who was in the US Marines.

I agree. The Dems should be more openly right. They should also stop suing leftist parties off the ballot, since they’re not going for those voters anyway.

Democrats cannot appeal to those on the extreme left or extreme right. Take a centrist view and they will appeal to most Americans.

Most Americans are not in the center, and in trying to appeal to everyone they end up appealing to no one.

But this conversation is over 10 years too late. The Democrats moved to the far right long ago, which is why they’re so rabidly anti-immigration and pro-genocide now.

If Biden was so anti-immigration, why did he permit so many illegal migrants that Governor Abbott of Texas bused them to sanctuary cities?
