I'm so bored of these puff pieces about Jacinda Ardern.
Yes, her government did an amazing job managing Covid, and yes, she represented a very different style of leadership.
Her government also massively failed us on a number of issues. If she'd actually stated how she felt regarding the cannabis referendum, it likely would have passed, and they totally failed to address the housing crisis, child poverty, and a number of other issues they campaigned on. They simply failed to show decisive leadership on a huge number of issues, and paid the price at the polls.
