I've been on this dirtball for several decades, and I can't remember a single time when I looked at a crowd of soccer fans and thought "What a clever, intelligent, interesting bunch of people I would really like to mingle with."
That's a shame - a lot of us (most of us) are just perfectly normal people. It'd be a mistake to judge the many by the flaws of the few.
What's an American not interested in football doing on here, and maybe read the article before commenting trash.
The person you reply to speaks French (I've seen them writing French a few times). Using "soccer" doesn't automatically make you an American.
