I work for a pharma company that contracts manufacturing for other companies and some of our clients get in a tizzy when one of our supplies says they are opening a new facility in a BRICS country. Some straight up say they refuse to use material from them. All I can think is "well good luck getting materials for your products then." lol. They act like it's a quality thing and knowing how western regulations are I'm pretty sure BRICS has stronger regulations at this point.

I think at this point is basically impossible. If I recall correctly most planes use some metal that is mostly produced in Brazil and then they also produce a lot of the world's livestock feed.

They will just pay more to buy it from a third country that just repacks the goods from the BRICS

Yeah, but that means that they can never do some genocidal bloqueo like they did to Cuba by also blocking anything that relies on those materials. And considering Cuba seems to want to join, that's a very good sign.
