Like actually, how tf is the spending on this equipment approved?
The appropriations bill that gets passed every year, the one that results in a "government shutdown" if it doesn't pass.
Militarized police state. And conservatives are trying to increase their budget, cut a bunch of social programs incl medical, and tax cuts at the highest levels.
