Did he learn that before or after he spent $250 million dollars to get him elected and acted like he was best buddies with him until very recently?

Nope. We don't hear about Musk's twitter crap from reading twitter, we hear about it only because the news media shoves it in people's faces. The news media is handing Musk his megaphone.

We also should keep assuming he's lying. The two of them would happily fight in public and keep chatting on the phone or by email to cut back door deals for each other, if they thought it would relieve political pressure.
Remember, all they do is lie, all of every day, it's just that you don't always know about what or why. Everything in their lives is a con.
Which is exactly why we should not be listening to, reporting on or repeating anything he says unless it's under oath in one of his trials.
And maybe bring up actual positive initiatives, like unionization, whenever discussions do revolve around his self-serving talking points.

He wanted to horn in on Trump's narcistic attention. And now after being fired he wants to keep on getting narcistic attention independently of Trump's narcistic attention.

Why isn't the government testing people for narcissism and putting narcissists down??

There's been pictures of trump hanging out with Epstein for a long time. There also the numerous allegations of sexual assault as well as being found liable. Backstage at pageant shows, etc.Trump is and has been a creep for a long ass time.
He got to disrupt critical government agencies, destroy the evidence against him, and got to boss the president around for a few months... seems like a pretty good deal. Just putin's wallet is much deeper.
