Led by countercultural icons like Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin, this massive anti-Vietnam War demonstration began with a rally at the Lincoln Memorial, featuring speeches from Dr. Benjamin Spock and performances by folk singers, before marching across the Potomac to the Pentagon itself
