If they don't, did Build Back Better just kill itself, one piece at a time, over the course of months?

Condescension: from people who like the status quo but can't defend it.
Just someone who understands what words mean.
Well, when manchin singlehandedly did what you wanted and killed Build Back Better for you, he was running the party.
You love it but can't admit it, so you get condescending instead. Enjoy watching the poor people you hate suffer.
