Lmao. The US doesn't even come close to the history of France. You're cosplayers.

Yeah, they weren't even sure they didn't want to make their own monarchy when they revolted in the US. It was really a regionalist thing, and then they incorporated some liberal ideas that were floating around after the fact.

The US could not exist without assistance from France during the Revolutionary War, so yes.
