I get it and am all for shitting on this guy. However, the comparison of crowd size seems disingenuous. The top picture if of the parade route (where people would not be gathering; by this I mean that actual surface area where the tanks, floats, and soldiers will be passing by), while the bottom picture is of the specific crowd size in the specific crowd area.
I would prefer that the top picture be of a specific crowd area from a comparable angle at both events. You would see more at the parade people but would still be able to see that there were significantly more people protesting.
In this paper, I will explore the manipulative use of imagery on both sides of the American political spectrum to affect the targeting of political donations from grassroot and astroturf movements to the vast, uncaring, corporate machine disguised as diametrically opposed political philosophies.
