I'm not a fan of Google's ad and privacy practices but damn they've built some really amazing stuff.
Googles translation software is definitely pretty cool. I've been able to use it to talk with people who couldn't speak English before (although not the most coherently) which is pretty cool when the alternative is not being able to speak to each other
