That yellow bulb is the remnants of the large flower I had. Am I correct in assuming that is the fruit? It's a slow grower if it is.

It gets full Florida sun. Lots of water. And the upward growth is at 7 feet tall ...this yellow bulb is at 1 foot.

I have it encased in a square frame meant for tomatoes... With taller bamboo poles to support taller growth. At 7 ft, I was planning on letting it start that palm tree shape.
