I’m happy to see American people getting more consciousness about their “democracy“
That “democracy” has many issues: I personally believe it’s beyond saving. But if one wishes to make it be real, paper ballots counted by witnesses is a required first step.
This fundamental requirement to democracy is missing in most of the USA, and it is not easy to generate interest to promote change. People refuse to take it seriously, the press will ignore it, and there is a weird cult about computers being required to count votes.
I have decided Americans, as a nation, can never understand how democracy works. They believe in voting but require some oligarch to tell them the results. The fix is in for most primary winners and the general elections are run in a way to maximize profits.
Laughable as that may be, it is a permanent problem in many states, and cannot be solved. This broken democracy cannot not be a solution to the problems.
That said, it’s certainly possible to use this as a solution to local areas and a few states. Just never the whole nation
