They didn't like the thunder one bit this afternoon when i got home. But the thunder has stopped, the rain has let up, and we are settling in for a cozy night.
We have a lot of stray cats on my block, and i saw one that i call Boots staring at me, shaking his little white boot at me while i was having a smoke, letting me know he was hurt. I was so heartbroken and thought of my little girls, so I brought him a whole can of food. There are plenty of safe spaces around here, so hopefully he can find a place to lay low and heal.
Mine has been yelling at me about going outside, so ii have been taking her out with me on a harness when i smoke. She's been curious, and a bit overwhelmed, but I don't think i could let her out on her own in the town. There are so many cats here that would tear her apart aonce she is so small.
Cats shouldn't be let outside in my opinion. They are very destructive. I have rabbits in my back yard and I like to watch them in the morning.
