yeah it actually is. the containment system worked. unfounded anxiety did more harm than radiation.
the problem is it's for ai shit and not regular things, but it's still way better than using gas or coal
Even though I do not trust capitalism to run a nuclear power plant (ex: fukushima was avoidable, if they weren't cutting corners for profit). Burning coal is still worse

It didn't release radiation to the environment, not enough to be relevant anyway. A coal power plant releases more radiation by functioning normally. The partial meltdown isn't as dangerous as it sounds. Nuclear energy is the most clean non-renewable. I WILL die on this hill. Stopping the use of coal and oil is the priority, and nuclear + renewable is the way, renewable energy is not stable enough yet
