This is an interesting picture on the article for the pointing and calling strategy, most famously used on Japanese railways to keep workers alert.

Outside of Asia, this is also done in the New York and Toronto subways.

That's interesting af. Does anyone know if they do this in germany as well? I only know the flag waving method for planes and the whistle for trains.
