Eh. Not really true. Sam Ryder came second in 2022. And the UK has generally been bad since the 2000s

Yeah, fair. Brexit really didn't help though. And for a while the UK didn't help itself by submitting objectively awful entries.

Pretty much, yeah.

I mean a lot of people watch it for the music, and enjoy it for that. But mostly the voting ends up following political lines.
