Sumo

Oshoumi works the belt off the tachiai to push Shishi around but he answers back with a big throw attempt that takes Osho to the bales but he can't finish. They reset in the center and Shishi tries another throw with a knee pick he can't finish that either. After a stalemate Osho drives Shishi back and lifts him off the dohyo just before pushing him out. Good energy from Shishi today but it wasn't quite enough.

Kinbozan stands Tamawashi up with some throat thrusts and Tama retreats but then battles back with his own of the same. He can't quite get Kinbo out over the straw but when he fights back the vet changes it up and slaps him down for his second win.

Wakanosho comes out hard and Ura immediately finds himself with both feet on the tawara, but he's no stranger to fighting from there and absorbs some hard shoves before he uses his patented back bend to slip the thrusts and get inside Waka's defenses and execute a quick throw down katasukashi.

Tobizaru and Asanoyama grapple until Tobi is backed up to the ropes in an awkward position but the wily Monkey manages to slip diagonally down and out of Asa's grasp, putting him on the clay just before Tobi runs off the ring.

Long scrambling spinning stalemate between Tokihayate and Asahakuryu but Toki eventually throws Asa down and out while they both tumble over the edge.

Kotoeiho keeps good position to the side of Oshoma and takes him to the edge where Oshoma tries a throw but plants on his front just before Koto can fall on his butt. A monoii is called but the gyoji call is upheld with Koto's okurinage.

Big thrust battle between Ichiyamamoto and Gonoyama but Gono is the first to hit a slap down that takes Ichi off balance, but he recovers and answers with one of his own. Another slap battle ensues until Ichi changes up the pressure and slaps Gono down on his belly.

Hard tachiai as Yoshinofuji and Hiradoumi scramble for position but Yoshi finds an inside right first that he uses to look for some throws. After they end up in the center Yoshi finally finds the right moment and position to put Hira down face/shoulder first.

Fujinokawa is fast off the tachiai but Oho finds the position he needs to work Fuji to the bales and crush him down and out, landing on top of him.

Kotoshoho with a huge parry right off the line and Fujiseiun is knocked way to the side. Koto follows up with a big thrust the sends Fuji tumbling.

Kirishima goes for the forearm to the face off the line and ends up double inside against Wakatakakage that he uses after some position jockeying to take WTK to the ropes and out.

Kotozakura shucks Shodai to the side after the initial clash and follows it up with some nodowa thrusts but Shodai finds his feet and drives the ozeki back only to change up with a pull that gets Koto facing away and forces him over the tawara before he can recover. At 3-7 he's probably dealing with some injury, maybe his knee from September 2025.

Kirishima, Tobizaru, and Kotoeiho stand on top at 9-2
