I keep seeing these articles about how cheap Americans get petrol for, but they're framed as if it's really expensive and I don't really understand it tbh. You mean to tell me you've been paying less than a dollar a litre until now? Wtf?

I agree, but see it like a 30%+ increase in ~80 days. On top of that, remember that most yankee cars are small pp behemoths that chug 50L/km or something
