I’m sure we’ve all see the drama over the removal of mod Mare Synchronos, questions about people getting banned, and resulting review bombing, Yoshi-P has addressed it here.

TL;DR: don’t talk about mods and you’ll be ok.

That's not really an accurate tldr. It's better summarized as saying that while Yoshi-P doesn't approve of mods and they're still against ToS, he doesn't plan to go after people for client-side mods that don't affect other players unless they start sharing stuff that could damage the brand.

Honestly, I think it's a pretty reasonable take.
