Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

I would agree. Just as everyone is the hero of their own story, no one is the 'bad guy' in their own story...and will often do olympic level mental gymnastics to fit that image.
Some people are willing to admit their "bad guy" behavior. Some people are introspective and seek to improve on their own, some have to be motivated by something or someone externally before they'll change - some horrible consequences or loss - and some won't look inward no matter what happens.
I was abused as a child and was determined not to repeat it. The first time I got angry as a young adult and punched a wall, I was ashamed. The person that triggered that anger was genuinely treating me badly but that didnt justify my bad behavior, and I held myself accountable. It's been almost 40 years since that happened and I can thankfully say my wife and kids haven't ever seen that behavior from me.
My story has a good ending because I was ready to recognize I had problems in my early chapters. No one gets to write the first chapters of their story and sometimes they're not a good guy when they develop self-awareness, but some will take control and change the ending.
