You don't really reappear in a person's live after a decade unless it's a relative and/or the occasion is a funeral.
That's sad, I really would like to reconnect with some people now that I understand myself better but perhaps it is too much time.
Nah, you still can. Just acknowledge and be comfortable with the fact you may not get a response or will get an awkward, kind of dismissive one.
But nothing ventured, nothing gained. Just don't take it possibly not clicking to heart is what I'm getting at, a decade+ is a long time and they (like you) have changed.
Actually they are childhood/teen friends, so it's several decades, I spent hours almost every day with them for many years so we were pretty close, but then HS hit and we just kinda drifted apart.
I understand - had a similar moment recently re: my own high school friends, which is where my comment comes from (though in my case it was closer to a decade than decades). Some were happy to hear from me, others ghosted.
All of this to say, send a message. You never know!
True enough, thank you :) Appreciate the time, good to hear that you had some success, I'm just not great with people and it's time I admit it and be more open with questions :)
