OP1 looks great according to RTings, here it is compared to your CM MM720 with plenty of data and informations.

Does anybody have any experience with it on Linux? Does it work with Piper?
I don't but I'm using a Logitech mouse without issue and Logitech is known to do nothing for Linux users,
