Could be worse!

I've got 14 million listens over four years on Distrokid, and that just about covered the cost of four years with Distrokid. On their most minimal plan.

Good thing I am also in it for the music.

The economics of streaming are fucked up. Major labels get 80–88% of standard recording streams and physical sales.

Yeah, I'm in the process of putting everything on Bandcamp. If I'm not going to be making any money, might as well not be spending the little I do.

I know right? I have around 60k total streams in 5 years, and I earned around $300 so far. I use a free distributor (who takes a 15%) cut though. I figured I'm not earning much anyway, so I don't really mind them getting a cut if I get unlimited uploads without a fee.
