United flight 236 from Newark to Palma de Mallorca on Saturday night was forced to turn around just an hour after takeoff due to security concerns around a Bluetooth signal. A teenager had a Bluetooth speaker that they named "BOMB". The cabin crew ordered everyone to turn off their Bluetooth, and when it was still showing "BOMB", the pilot squawked 7700 and returned to the departure airport. Not much more to the story than that, you're welcome.
