Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Engineering Explained tested out Hyundai's offering if an electric car with shifting. I tend to agree with most of what he says on his channel, and he's certainly a gear head, so I trust that it can be implemented in a fun way.
without the sound through speakers, it seems a bit like manual power settings on an ebike. Caps the max speed to a gear/PAS number.
Careful with that guy, he reads off corporate scripts a lot. And for a gear head, he makes a lot of stupid purchases.
I agree we should be careful with his sponsored videos. But i do appreciate that he makes it so obvious when he reads from the talking points they give him. I don't think he has a bad track record as such with cars. I think he just enjoys trying new things with his second car, as he seems to always have an ol' reliable one off to the side.
