Dark and light therapy have been used for years with success, especially with people who have depression and bipolar. You can turn the intensity down with darkness (or at least by filtering the blue light out) and turn up the intensity with light.
I have bipolar, and depression comes knocking every winter. I have Luminette light glasses that I wear every morning for 20 mins starting in late September and all the way to spring.
I also have amber glasses to wear in the evening, especially if I’m feeling a bit hyper and need to come down.
I’ve never heard of the TrueDark glasses, and you better believe I’m checking them out.
For sure, if you wanna be cool get the sunglasses but if you want to block out all else get the ones that are more like thevCyclops Xmen goggle set that covers your eyes entirely
Also luminettes are great altho i find the phillips golite blu more invigorating in the winter
