Do you ever use sunglasses/light to alter your mental state? (lemmy.world)

I have those TrueDark red sunglasses and they are actually weirdly relaxing. They would be very dangerous to wear while driving i imagine

I've used Mindroid in the past and got good results from it both for stimulation and relaxation, but balancing a phone on my face for 20 minutes made it a bit inconvenient and I eventually stopped.

I've also used lights as an alarm clock and that was much more pleasant than noise-based ones.
