I said 'women', that was who it was aimed at. As at the time, women were picked up by men traditionally. But, there were a few drunken women singing down the phone at some hot stud.

That’s not the point. It doesn’t matter who it is, the fact that it’s only funny when we do it to men is the problem.

But it wasn't. The women drunkenly singing down the phone was also funny, also played for laughs. Your premise is false.
