Adam Sandler is A list?
Well he's on A list....
He may not make block busters, but the man makes a damn good living making budget movies.
Yes, that is precisely why I wouldn't consider him an A lister.
He gets to keep making them because he's already on the in with his own production company. That's what makes him A-list. Most of the A-list is willing to show up and do bit parts for him.
Having a production company makes him a producer. The types of things he produces makes me not consider him an A lister. Middling budget movies aren't convincing me otherwise.
You know who he is and can probably name several things he’s done off the top of your head
I can name things Rob Schneider and David Spade were in, too. All the things I can think of for Sandler were 20 years ago or more. I'm sure he's done other stuff since, but I can't imagine going to see a movie because he's in it, or that him being in it is even a good sign.
