Ride-hailing giant Uber, Nvidia, and Israeli autonomous driving company Autobrains are partnering to launch a new autonomous taxi service. Munich will serve as the program’s first deployment city and as the foundation for a robotaxi model designed to operate independently of any specific vehicle manufacturer.

Autobrains was founded in 2019 as a spin-off from the Cortica Group and has operated independently ever since. The company employs approximately 100 experts in artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, and software development, with operations in Tel Aviv and Munich.
