Supposedly gun experts don't think the rifle used matches the shot by any means. I've heard it from a few places as an egregious discrepancy, and the theory ultimately points to everyone's favorite country which he was beginning to turn against.

Nothing surprises me anymore in this fucked up timeline so tbh I didn't research it myself

a mic wouldnt do much damage to the neck. you would see shrapnel slicing his skin, not a through and through shot and a perfect hole.
