Universalizing morality is the essence of Kant's Categorical Imperative, one of the central tenets of the Enlightenment era.

Particularizing it is known as being a self-righteous piece of shit. It's voter fraud when I lose an election, antisemitism when they criticize my genocide, government overreach when I have to pay taxes. Me, me, me, me.
