What's fennec?
It's a build of Firefox by the F-Droid team. It is essentially identical to normal Firefox, except that you can install it via F-Droid, which is really nice!
IronFox is a more privacy-minded option if you want that, I believe it's a continuation of the "Mull" browser.
That's the codename for Firefox Android.
Mozilla did
org.mozilla.fennec. The F-Droid people then didorg.mozilla.fennec_fdroid. For trademark reasons, they can't use the name "Firefox" in the UIs.It also has additional features mainly related to privacy. I'm using it because you can install custom web extensions
