So basically, my grandparents got this book somehow in the 70s and gifted it to me not long ago due to me being a dirty commie. As far as I'm aware this book has largely been lost to history, although I found what I think is a full version on internet archive here, but you have to log in to access it. There are many great pictures and quotations, and I think it's a shame more people can't see it. This book is an exploration of the commune of Tachai (Dàzhài - 大寨) during the time and a great coffee table book.

Maybe try digitalising it (your local library might have a quality book digitaliser I forgot what it's called lol) or just use your phone

Oh truuee. Well I logged in on the internet archive but you have to borrow it and can't download it which is a shame since it'd be in much better quality than digitising this old physical copy. The pages are in pretty good condition but the outside is kind of worn and there's a few rips (not by me) seeing as it is over 50 years old. I might try hunt down the original uploader and kindly ask if they have a pdf version or something because this book is pretty damn cool imo. I could like screenshot the archive but that would lower the quality a fair bit.
