One does not simply “invent” the restrictions of reality.

Either extra dimensions exist and always have or they don’t

I think more like a way to manipulate objects through the fourth dimension (so attach to the fourth dimension in a meaningful way, grab the object from there and move it).
I'm in no way educated enough in this matter to have a good stance on this topic. Still I think it would not work as proposes as the sphere (or at least her boobs) is a 3D object to begin with, not a 3D projection of a 4D object.
