For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

This isn't a debate, you're just factually, clearly, wrong.

But it's whatever, you know what you're doing.

Oh, my bad, so then Elon wasn’t thanking the audience, I’m lying about that?

Oh, he was? He literally said that huh? hm…

Well, he didn’t thank them from his heart. Obviously that’s bullshit right?

Oh, he did? Like he literally said he was doing exactly that? Straight up, “from my heart”?

Well he didn’t grab his heart or anything, he just did the salute

Oh, he did grab his heart? Like, he literally flat palms his chest and literally grips his shirt over his heart?

Hm… well, this happened at place where people do Nazi Salutes right? Like in secret or at a white power rally or something?

No? It happened in a public place where you almost certainly wouldn’t publicly do this?

oh…

he didn't crash his car he just accelerated into a barrier, flipped his car over it and came to an abrupt halt. But he definitely didn't crash his car.

That's how you sound right now, I'm not replying anymore especially since I think you're more than likely a bot (or if you're not a bot you're a moron or a troll) so yeah ... But like what the hell kind of logic are you even on about.

No, he definitely wrecked his car; the question is if he did it on purpose

He did not purposely wreck his car. How do I know?

Well, for starters, it just doesn't make any sense to wreck your car in this scenario. He's at a car meetup, not a demolition derby.

He also said, "watch me do a doughnut". Why would he say that? I mean, if all he was going to do was purposely wreck his car why wouldn't he just straight up say, "watch me wreck my car"? If he wrecked his car on purpose he's clearly not shy about wrecking his car on a public stage but suddenly he's too shy to actually say "watch me wreck my car"? He lied about what he was doing?

Then we see him grab the wheel and crank it hard to the left, exactly like you would do if you were doing a doughnut and exactly what he said he was going to do.

It's just, then he hit a barrier, flipped his car over, and came to abrupt halt.

So, yes, he definitely wrecked his car. But did he deliberately wreck his car? No.
