I think she was just mad he pointed a gun at her. She went for that hammer once he ran like it was time for vengeance.

People might call it stupid but you really don't know how you might feel or act when a little shit points a gun at you

Spot on. I expect any customer service worker, or anyone who deals with the public day-to-day, to have a good amount of pent up rage.
