I have really small ears and ear canals, and AirPods Pro’s are generally uncomfortable (both 2 and 3). They also suck at staying in my ears which defeats the purpose of them being gym buds as well. I’ve tried all kinds of ear tips to no avail. I vastly prefer headphones but unfortunately I have a hair type that gets ridiculous looking headphone lines in it when I wear them. So here I am. I’m hoping for comfort and then features next. ANC would be nice if it’s good, otherwise I guess I might consider wired if I can get much better sound. AirPods don’t sound great when I’m used to my HD 6XX lol.

I would say try open earbuds but those don't really have ANC

If you do want to try, clip on earbuds might work. They don't really sit in the canal, so your ear doesn't hurt. I have the moondrop collab ones

If you like headphones then clip on ones might work for you. Those are usually wired though
