Industry standard thinks that nato, the organization, is supporting Israel. While many nato countries do, its disingenuous to say "nato", but that's how they frame it
Interestingly, to me, Israel exists directly after the events of WW2 because of said members and Stalin's Russia, all of whom did not care one bit about the region's current inhabitants but didn't want to accept millions of Jews into their countries.
NATO was formed later on as a check to the USSR, which placed Israel in the first world because of pro capitalism interests. That's neither here nor there, though, as Netanyahu has had very a positive relationship with Putin (with it decreasing a little recently after the attacks on ally Iran). Who do you think sells Israel the most oil?
