Genuinely, I tried dating someone who was poly. Watching her kiss someone else hurt in a way that I can never fully describe. I understand that that's a me issue and not a her issue. But I can't do it. My heart just doesn't work that way.

It's just not for everybody. We're all different and have different boundaries and that's totally ok. I could never do poly either, just not for me.
