I have major social anxiety but I saw a post from someone, which really resonated with me, so I commented on their steam profile and they sent me a friend request and I just messaged them offering to chat and game if they needed a distraction.

This is a big deal for me. I usually have friend requests and chats off due to past trauma but I am learning to reach out to people again because it's hard to make friends when you're housebound.

Tldr trying to communicate with more people despite social anxiety and I'm proud of that
