Taking even from Japanese approaches to surrounding wildlife with Shinto inspired takes like Pom Poko

I just think it’d be amazing to see a dark, sorta Don Bluth x Miyazaki tale of classic good and evil.

A scary tale of a queen kidnapped from and returned by, a group of animals as a metaphor for nature returning balance to everything around it. Could be a cool story of backstabbing snakes and sword fighting frogs with the whole forest at stake; all while a frog princess… prophesied to be queen, is smuggled out and floated down river…
