Do you think the same applies to sample based music?

The counter-argument to this from a leftist pov is that LLMs are just a tool and its the relationship of production that is the issue here - if LLMs just meant people kept the same jobs they had but now they had more time off I doubt anyone would have an issue with it at all.

no, because those samples are used to create something completely different

if the samples were being used to create the same song or basically the same song with essentially nothing changed i'd have a problem with it
