In My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, one of the fundamental aspects of their lives involves discovering their passion and using it to help others. They get paid to do the job they love. This, of course, is a fantasy. In reality everyone is forced to mould themselves where they don't fit, and therefore create an adequate, but extremely unhappy, society.
